Dr. Ade Ogundimu, born in London, England, has developed a career in the fine arts based on extensive training and professional experience. He began his art studies at Yaba College of Technology in Lagos, Nigeria, earning an OND in General Art and an HND in Fine Art. He continued his education in London, obtaining a Diploma in Photolithography and Graphics from the University of the Arts, a Certificate in Printing, a short course in Pop Art at the University of Oxford, and a BA (Hons) in Fine Art with a major in Sculpture from the University of East London. He later completed an MA in Fine Art and a Professional Doctorate in Fine Art (DProf) at the University of East London, with research focused on Legacies of Empire: Language, Objects and Myth.

Early in his career, he received recognition such as the Most Innovative Staff Award from NTA Abeokuta and the Graphic Staff Award, followed by the Buckingham Aviary Art Award.

Dr. Ogundimu is a member of the Society of Nigerian Artists (international chapter) and the Guild of Fine Artists of Nigeria. Professionally, he has held roles including partner at Falco Design and Print Ltd and director of DigitalBait Dot Net Ltd. He now works as a full-time studio artist, exhibiting his work in group exhibitions at venues including Alexandra Palace and Arc Gallery in London, Frameless Gallery, Gallery 639, and with the Nigerian Art Society UK. His thematic exhibitions, such as Forbidden Fruit, Rising Generations, Erotica, Ariya: A Celebration of Colour, and Legacies of Biafra, have been shown widely, and he has also participated in international exhibitions, including in India.

Dr. Ogundimu’s work explores socio-economic and cultural themes through contemporary art, reflecting sustained engagement with creative practice and professional development.
